Letting off Steam

Mount St. Helens in Washignton State erupted in 1980. I remember it well, as I was living in Hillsboro, OR, and we got buried in ash from the 2nd explosion. I was in 5th grade, and school was cancelled. The explosion blew out the side of the mountain.

Since then, the mountain has still been releasing steam, and you can see the lava mound growing.

Water colors on board canvas - an experiment. :)

I am not certain if this will be for sale or not through our Etsy store. If you are interested in purchase, please contact me and I'll set it up.
