Simple Triangle Shawl

So, I had this soft, comfy yarn and no goal for it. It was Serenity Chunky in Stormy. So I decided to make a simple, triangle shawl.

I ran out of yarn when I needed it a bit longer, so I did a crochet border with some scrap Homespun. Since it was missing it's lable, I'm not sure what color the company calls it, but I call it a grey heather.

Lots of changes

Due to a great many changes in my life, I was without a computer for the longest while. Then a move. Then unpacking. Then the holidays. Then my annual bout with winter illness, this year it's pneumonia.

There is a positive about having pneumonia. You have to stay down, stay warm, but also stay upright. All of which is perfect for winter knitting.

I pulled out a large project that I had started in October 2008, of which I have posted some in progress images.

Well, it's done and up for auction on eBay.

5 hours designing and creating the three charts; $45.00 in yarn; 35 hours knitting time.
